Welcome to the world, little one.

At Little Details Photography, I create beautiful, timeless newborn photographs in my cosy home studio, capturing all those tiny details that change so quickly - little fingers, curled toes, button noses and those sleepy newborn moments you'll wish you could bottle forever.

With a gentle, baby-led approach and simple, natural styling, your newborn photoshoot is designed to feel calm, relaxed and completely centred around your baby.

What to Expect

A newborn session with Little Details Photography is more than just a photoshoot - it's a calm, enjoyable experience designed for both you and your baby. From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a warm, cosy space where everything is set up for you, so you can simply relax, have a coffee and a cheeky biscuit or two while I work my magic.

The session is completely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and soothing. I will gently guide your baby into natural, beautifully styled simple poses while capturing those tiny, fleeting details, as well as relaxed family moments.

It's a peaceful, memorable experience that allows you to slow down, soak it all in and leave with timeless images you'll treasure forever.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

STEP 1

Pop me a message

Fill out my contact form with your due date. I will get back to you within 24 hours with my availability.

STEP 2

Ready to book your experience?

The non-refundable session fee is required to secure your date. I will then pencil your due date in my diary and send you a questionnaire and welcome guide with everything you need to prepare for your session.

STEP 3

The photoshoot

Once your baby is here, pop me a message and we will schedule your session (normally 4-14 days after). The session will be held in my cosy studio in Corby, Northamptonshire.

STEP 4

Delivering photos

Around 2 weeks after your session, you'll receive your private online viewing gallery, where you can select your favourite images and choose the collection that feels right for you.

Newborn FAQ

When is the best time to book?

I would advise booking as soon as possible, whilst you're still pregnant as my diary fills up a few months in advance. As soon as you have had your 12 week scan is best. I will then pencil your due date into my diary and when little one arrives we can schedule your session (usually 4-14 days after).

Occasionally, I will have last minute newborn sessions available so if you think you have left it 'too late' to book then please do contact me and I will try my best to accommodate.

How long will the session last?

Newborn sessions are usually around 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, nappy changes, settling and comforting breaks. Newborn sessions are 100% baby-led!

Can i bring my children to the photoshoot?

Yes of course! I encourage siblings and parents and even grandparents to be involved.

Do you charge extra for multiple babies?

Absolutely not!

Sessions make take a little longer, but the approach remains calm, safe, and baby-led.

How do we prepare for the session?

You'll receive a welcome guide with simple tips to help the session run smoothly, including feeding, timing, what to wear and what to bring.

What if my toddler doesn't cooperate for sibling photos?

That's totally normal. We keep sibling images relaxed and playful, allowing them to warm up slowly. Gentle prompts and simple setups help capture natural connection without pressure.

Is my baby safe during the session?

Absolutely, Your baby's safety is always my highest priority. Every pose and setup is done gently and slowly, following your baby's natural comfort and movement. I only use safe posing techniques that are natural to newborns (sorry no froggy poses here!). The studio is warm, sanitised clean, and prepared with newborn-safe props and materials to ensure a calm, secure environment. I am fully trained in health and safety within Newborn photography.
